With Lost Kingdom Birds — Plate 2, I wanted to create a piece that felt like a page from a forgotten natural history book but one where the birds are completely imagined and the world around them is full of colour, movement and invention.
The birds sit within a dense tangle of leaves, stems and flowers, each one with its own character and energy. I liked the idea of them feeling observed and classified, but also alive perched, turning, overlapping and interacting with one another inside this abundant botanical world.
This piece is part of my Lost Kingdom collection, where I explore fictional species and imagined landscapes through pattern, colour and decorative detail. It has a theatrical quality, with bright birds and bold flowers pressing together to create a sense of rhythm and discovery.
Detailed, playful and full of life, the print brings colour and storytelling into a room. It works beautifully as a statement piece or alongside the other works from the Lost Kingdom series.

Tips for choosing your size
