Description

With Lost Kingdom — Regnum Perditum — Vespertinum, I wanted to capture that moment when the landscape starts to shift into evening. The sky darkens, the colours deepen and the plants begin to feel almost silhouetted against the last warmth of the light.

The piece is filled with layered leaves, oversized foliage and small flashes of orange running through the planting. I liked the contrast between the deep blue sky and the dense greens below, giving the whole scene a slightly mysterious, immersive feeling.

This print belongs to my Lost Kingdom series, where I explore imagined landscapes and fictional plant life through colour, pattern and botanical detail. Vespertinum means of the evening or at dusk, and this piece feels like stepping into the Lost Kingdom just as daylight is disappearing.

Rich in deep blues, greens and warm golden-orange tones, it makes a strong statement on its own while still working beautifully alongside the other pieces in the Lost Kingdom collection.

Each print is produced to order using archival giclée printing on enhanced matte fine art paper to ensure rich colour depth and long-lasting quality. Available framed or unframed in multiple sizes.
